While many thousands of Americans are denying the fact that a food shortage in America is bound to happen, others are quietly preparing for what may well be the worst economic disaster ever to hit our country. Folks, if you are totally dependent on the supermarket down the street for your daily meals, I beg of you to at least consider stockpiling a few months’ supply of food. While you will not hear about it (except in passing) on the mainstream news, and while we can all walk into supermarkets and buy as much food as we want right now, the truth is that a massive global food shortage is quite possible.
According to a recent article entitled “Global Food Reserves Have Reached Their Lowest Level In Almost 40 Years”, Michael Snyder contents, “For six of the last eleven years the world has consumed more food than it has produced. This year, drought in the United States and elsewhere has put even more pressure on global food supplies than usual. As a result, global food reserves have reached their lowest level in almost 40 years. Experts are warning that if next summer is similar to this summer that it could be enough to trigger a major global food crisis. At this point, the world is literally living from one year to the next. There is simply not much of a buffer left… The United Nations has issued an unprecedented warning about the state of global food supplies. According to the UN, global food reserves have not been this low since 1974… At the end of August, the World Bank issued a global hunger warning…”
I hear folks talking about buying silver and gold to hedge against inflation and devaluation of the dollar, which is a good idea for folks who have a lot of money and have already taken care of their “food insurance” … but you can’t eat gold and silver folks! Think about it … Americans spend thousands of dollars each year on health insurance, car insurance, home insurance, renter’s insurance, life insurance, and the list goes on and on. But 95% of Americans don’t have any food insurance (i.e. food storage). If you don’t have car insurance when you get in a wreck, then you might lose your car…but if you don’t have food insurance and there is a shortage of food, then you might starve to death.
With few exceptions, we have become increasingly dependent on others to feed us. Most people don’t know (because they’ve never thought about it) that the typical American city has on hand only enough food to feed the population for about three days. If the supermarkets and warehouses aren’t re-stocked, you’ll have a few days before you run out of food. Kind of scary, isn’t it?
Imagine what would happen if food supplies were suddenly unable to reach grocery stores due to a shortage OR if you could no longer afford food (due to hyperinflation)? Where would you turn for your next meal? The truth of the matter is that if you wait until then, it will be too late. Now is the time to build up an emergency food supply because a food shortage that is so horrible that most of us cannot even imagine it is on the way, and when it hits it is going to be incredibly painful. My advice is and will always be the same: Now is the time to prepare. I recommend having at least one year of food storage for every member of your family.
How would you feel if you only got one meal per day? As a husband and father of four children, I take my responsibility to provide for my family very seriously. If your family is like my family, and you have enough to eat and drink each day, you should thank the good Lord for your blessings. I think it’s wise to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

A remarkable alternative cancer treatment was devised by a German biochemist, Dr. Johanna Budwig, also a seven time Nobel nominee. Her most important medical contributions involved her research into the roles of essential fatty acids (EFAs). In order to mass produce and distribute foods high in oils, food manufacturers deliberately alter the chemical composition of the oils, which gives them longer shelf lives. In the 1950’s, she proved that these chemically-altered, hydrogenated fats (which she called “pseudo” fats) are rigid fats which stick to the cell membranes, thus causing them to malfunction.
Dr. Budwig believed that these hydrogenated, processed fats and oils shut down the electrical field of the cells and make us susceptible to chronic and terminal diseases, since the beneficial oxidase ferments are destroyed by heating or boiling. She also demonstrated that the absence of essential unsaturated fats is responsible for the production of oxidase, which induces cancer growth and causes many other chronic disorders. She came to believe that cancer was not the result of too much cell growth, but defective cell growth (i.e., cell division), caused by the combination of too much “pseudo” fats and too few healthy fats in the cell membrane.
But exactly what happens to fats when they are processed? In healthy fats there is a vital electron cloud which enables the fat to bind with oxygen. Healthy, oxygenated fats are capable of binding with protein and in the process become water-soluble. This water solubility is vital to all growth processes, cell damage restoration, cell renewal, brain and nerve functions, sensory nerve functions, and energy development. In fact, the entire basis of our energy production is based on lipid metabolism. Hydrogenation destroys the vital electron cloud and as a result, these “pseudo” fats can no longer bind with oxygen or with protein. These fats end up blocking circulation, damaging the heart, inhibiting cell renewal, and impeding the free flow of blood and lymph. You might want to remember this fact the next time you want to buy some margarine or fried foods, since both typically contain these harmful fats.
Budwig understood that chronic disease is a result of a body lacking EFAs, which are full of electrons and bind to oxygen and proteins. When they are absorbed into the cell wall, they pull oxygen into the cell. And when bound to sulfur-based proteins, they become water-soluble. This is the theory behind the Budwig Diet: the use of oxygen in the organism can be stimulated by lipoproteins (sulfur-rich proteins and linoleic acid). The Budwig Diet (a blend of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese) has been an integral part in the recovery of literally thousands of cancer patients. You simply mix one cup of organic cottage cheese with two to three tablespoons of flaxseed oil. Be sure to blend them together and let them sit for several minutes. This will convert the oil-soluble omega-3 into water-soluble omega-3. It is also a good idea to grind fresh flax seeds and add to the mixture. It is important to note that neither foods rich in EFAs nor sulfur-rich proteins alone will accomplish these tasks. This is because the oils must first bind to the proteins before oxygen can be bound and before the body can assimilate the combination. Thanks to the tireless work of Dr. Budwig we now know that electron-rich fats interact with sulfur-rich proteins to bind oxygen and promote aerobic metabolism which restores health.
At this very moment, your body is under direct assault. At the cellular level, your biology is being attacked in such a manner that it is actually altering your very genetic coding. Your DNA is under consistent bombardment through not only the food you are eating, but by environmental factors that are literally ripping apart your DNA. It’s all been admitted in peer-reviewed research that is continually ignored by the mainstream medical establishment. In fact, major government groups backed by financial corporate interests are actually streamlining the very biology-crushing technology that is to blame for an explosive rate of disease across the nation. Despite being linked to sterility, infant mortality, organ damage, depletion of micro-organisms within the biosphere (essential for the cultivation of food on our planet), mutant insects and ‘super’ weeds, the USDA has actually decided to fast-track biotechnology giant Monsanto’s approval process.
Upwards of 90 plus percent of many different crops are already genetically modified and placed on your dinner plates — a number that is not satisfactory for Monsanto, who now seeks to dominate 100% of the entire agricultural industry with its genetic manipulation.
Chemicals like BPA line the plastics used by millions worldwide, and despite being linked in hundreds of studies to cancer (particularly breast cancer), the FDA has repeatedly sided with the multi-billion dollar BPA industry, who will generate over 8 billion dollars by creating more than 4.7 million metric tons of death-linked BPA this year. This is a chemical that has peer-reviewed research has tied to diabetes, heart disease, cancer, behavioral disorders, and many other conditions.
The healthcare juggernaut that is the mainstream medical establishment also continues to pump out pharmaceutical drugs that are now known to kill more people per year than traffic-related fatalities. In 2009, it was conservatively estimated that pharmaceutical drugs trumped traffic fatalities with around 37,485 deaths nationwide. The overall death toll regarding known pharmaceutical drug deaths and medical mistakes alone, only around 10% of which are believed to accurately be reported, comes in at 783,936 per year.
On average, a pharmaceutical drug contains 70 side effects. Many contain around 525. These side effects may include death, or in the case of drugs like Prozac, suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Of course the link between Prozac and suicide was covered up for decades by the drug maker Eli Lilly & Co. In 2005 it was revealed by a Hardvard-based whistle blower who released the information to the public, proving to the world that Eli Lilly lied for over 15 years and covered up studies linking Prozac use to suicide. In his own words, he said the public was being treated like ‘guinea pigs’.
The same events can be interchanged with virtually any drug company, many of which are now being forced to pay millions for false advertising and the resulting deaths that came from the use of their products.
In the realm of chemotherapy, it is now being admitted that the procedure actually kills patients more quickly and destroys the body itself.
I am not here to scare you into isolation. I am not here to sell you a solution in a bottle. This is what we are facing.
It is up to YOU to sound the alarm and restore order to the medical paradigm. We now have the opportunity to either sit idly by and allow ourselves to succumb to the healthcare juggernaut that lives within the United States or take back our health. The information surrounding the healing power of natural herbs and whole food items is bountiful, with studies finding that turmeric and ginger alone shrink tumors by anywhere from 50-81% in a number of weeks. Alternative cancer treatment centers are being targeted by the United States government and natural healers are being imprisoned for selling organic herbs from their own farms.

Lemon balm is a mint with a distinct “lemony” scent which is a staple of herb gardens and has been used for thousands of years for its calming, soothing, and healing properties as well as its culinary uses and aromatic qualities. Its botanical name (“Melissa officinalis”) is taken from the Greek word for bee, indicative of the plant’s attractive power for bees, butterflies, and other precious pollinators. Native to the Middle East, lemon balm traveled through all of Asia and Europe. History tells us that Benedictine monks put it in their monastery gardens, Charlemagne ordered his subjects to plant it, and Thomas Jefferson grew it at Monticello. The ancient Greeks relied on it to treat insomnia, alleviate anxiety, and to calm nerves. Over 100 years ago in Europe, alcoholic tinctures of lemon balm were combined with lemon peel, angelica root, and nutmeg to make “Carmelite water” (a 19th century tonic for migraine headache and neuralgia).
Recent studies have shown that lemon balm is rich in volatile oils (terpenes) which have relaxing properties and are effective in alleviating stress. Lemon balm also contains tannins (which are anti-viral) and eugenol (which calms muscle spasms, kills bacteria, and relieves pain). In a 2003 study taking lemon balm extract orally (60 drops daily for 4 months), symptoms of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease were alleviated. In the past few years, lemon balm has made headlines for its ability to treat cold sores and other breakouts caused by the herpes virus. Interestingly, lemon balm is mentioned in the scientific journal “Endocrinology” where it is explained that Melissa officinalis exhibits “antithyrotropic” activity, hence making it of possible use in the treatment of Graves’ disease or hyperthyroidism.
The liver and the gallbladder are also gently soothed down by the bitter principles present in the Lemon balm and these tend to enhance the rate of digestion as well as absorption in the stomach. Remedies made from the Lemon balm oil also become very useful in cases of nervousness, excessive anxiety or depression that effects the functioning of the heart, leading to heart pains or other problems like palpitations or an irregular heartbeat. Lemon balm can grow in most gardens and is a delight to harvest fresh to use in cooking and home remedies. You can make an excellent fresh tea with lemon balm and stevia. However, make sure the product you are using is lemon balm and not the less expensive citronella.
My name is John Curry. I’m 62 years old. I live in Duncan, Oklahoma. I’m telling this story publicly for the first time, hoping it might save you some time, money and misery.
I’m not too good with time lines, but I figure it was about two years ago when I began hurting in my back. I would be standing in line at Wal-Mart or the post office and suddenly I’d yell with extreme pain in my left hip. I went to the chiropractor several times and got little relief. I was reduced to crawling on the floor and using a walker or cane. I went to the emergency room twice and they told me that they couldn’t find anything and suggested that I go to my regular doctor and get my medications. I think they thought that I was looking for drugs. The third time I went to the emergency room I told my wife that I was going to chain myself to the light pole if they released me.
Well, this time the ER physician delved a little deeper and told me that he found something that I should discuss with my regular doctor. When my doctor came to my room he gave me the news that I had cancer from head to toe. My bones appeared black on the bone scan. My PSA was 239! I figured that I was done for. I was told that I could buy some time if I underwent castration and began taking bicalutamide or casodex, which I agreed to.
After about a year my oncologist told me that the cancer was coming back and that he was releasing me from his care and that my next step was chemotherapy. My wife mentioned a “cure” and he told her “the horse is out of the barn and there’s no getting him back.” He gave me 8 months if I did nothing. This is when I told my wife that I was going to look into chemo but didn’t want to go that route. I had determined to sell my fishing stuff and tell my family and friends “good-bye.” My sister-in-law mentioned the alkaline diet so I began to study every Youtube video on the subject which lead to other alternatives. I thought to myself, if the person isn’t trying to make money and the remedy sounds simple and makes sense, I’ll do it. Couldn’t hurt and cheaper that what I’ve already experienced.
I started doing the home remedies mentioned below around 30 days before my first appointment with the cancer doctor. Four o’clock one morning I woke my wife and showed her how I could now do sit-ups and push-ups! She exclaimed, “Is it a miracle?” I assumed it was a miracle (I’m still giving God the glory), since I had only been doing this a few weeks. I had an upcoming appointment at the cancer center. When I met the doctor, I told him what had happened and that I was feeling great. He scratched his head and ordered a new bone scan.
When the time came to compare we were all in his office. He brought up the original bone scan and there were my black looking bones. Suddenly my second bone scan appeared on split screen and my bones were white! He looked at me and asked, “what are you doing?” I replied, “God!” The doctor then said, “this could be.” He ordered more blood tests. About an hour before my next meeting his nurse called me and told me that my PSA was 1.5 and that I didn’t need their services any longer! I weaned myself off 120mg. morphine twice a day and all the lortab that a person could ever need. Now I take an occasional 1/2 lortab since they do make me feel good! J
I’ve bought back my fishing tackle and fish three or four times a week. I can wrestle with my 9yr. old grandson. It’s been over 8 months and I’m back to my old self about 90% except for damage done and some neuropathy in my feet.

The only thing I do now besides the alkaline diet is the baking soda and molasses, which I think is the real life saver for me. You can watch the various Youtube videos to glean more useful information on each of these. I mention here where I got some of these ingredients because I found these merchants reputable and felt comfortable doing business with them. My concern was (and still is) people trying to make money off other people’s sickness. I don’t make any money from this. I just want to give you the opportunity to try an alternative which won’t send you to the poorhouse financially and couldn’t hurt.

Kombucha tea is a simple combination of tea, sugar, water, and starter culture which has been used for thousands of years dating back to 221 B.C. during the Chinese empire of the Tsin-Dynasty where they called it “the remedy for immortality.” It was later brought to Japan by Dr. Kombu to treat the Japanese emperor, Inkyo, for digestive problems. This unique, fermented tea has been used for millennia to lower blood pressure, improve digestion, and boost the immune system. It is alkaline-forming, simple to brew, and extremely inexpensive.
Numerous scientific studies have shown that kombucha tea helps populate the gut with probiotics (beneficial bacteria), enhances the immune system, fights off deadly pathogens, and protects vital organs. A 2011 study published in the journal “Pathophysiology” found that kombucha helps protect liver cells from damage. One cell-based study printed in the June 2012 issue of the journal Swiss Society of Food Science and Technology, asserts that kombucha “has prophylactic and therapeutic properties” including anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal effects. Its authors speculate that kombucha “may be very healthful” in combating yeast infections, thrush, and other forms of candidiasis.
Like yogurt, kombucha contains healthy bacteria in the form of Lactobacillus Acidophilus, as well as a dozen other probiotic strains. It also contains a wide range of organic acids, enzymes, and vitamins (particularly B1, B2, B6 and B12) which provide the body with energy, help to process fats and proteins, and which are vital for the nervous system. Interestingly, when kombucha tea is made correctly, all the sugars are fully converted into organic acids during fermentation, enabling Kombucha tea to be is safely drunk by diabetics and Candida sufferers.
Also, glucuronic acid (a product of the oxidation process of glucose) is one of the more noteworthy constituents of kombucha culture. As a detoxifying agent, it is one of the few substances that can help detoxify herbicides, pesticides, plastics and resins. It literally “kidnaps” the phenols in the liver which are then eliminated easily by the kidneys. Another byproduct of glucuronic acid are the glucosamines (structures associated with cartilage and collagen), thus kombucha has been shown to be effective for reducing wrinkles (due to collagen) and reducing arthritis symptoms (due to replenishing cartilage and joint fluid).
You may have heard about the recent case of a Newport, California student being suspended from school for bringing a bottle of kombucha tea. Appartently, the “lunch brigade Nazis” were somehow able to see through the piles of GMO corn muffins and pink-slime chicken nuggets when they noticed the “dangerous” bottle of kombucha tea and reported the boy to the vice principal, who then called the police, claiming that the kombucha violated the “no-drugs-no-alcohol” policy. The boy was then interrogated for several hours by the cop (without parental notification or legal representation) who ignorantly and incorrectly told the boy that kombucha was illegal and dangerous to mix with medicines or antibiotics. Then (after eating a dozen donuts) the cop asked him if and what kind of medications he was taking.
The boy ended up spending the entire day in the school office and then was suspended for 5 days for violating the school’s drug and alcohol policy. Most outrageously, the vice principal told the boy that he may have to transfer out of that school and she even tried to enroll him in an alcoholics class for teens!
One might say, “technically, kombucha does contain alcohol, so this was an appropriate reaction.” HONK! WRONG! Kombucha is nothing more than a fermented tea with benefits of probiotics, enzymes, amino acids, and vitamins. While it can contain 0.5% ethanol alcohol (classified as non-alcoholic), the alcohol that is produced gets converted into acetic acid. You may remember the FDA calling for kombucha to be removed from store shelves claiming it contained alcohol. Of course they failed and kombucha is still available at most grocery stores and can be purchased by any kid in the USA! What will they go after next? Yogurt? Sour Kraut? Apple cider?
So, to sum up this latest absurd case of the “Nanny State Gone Wild”:
“Now put down that bottle of Kombucha, little boy, and back away slowly with your hands on your head…”
