Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) ranks up there as one of the best household remedies. Hydrogen peroxide is one of the few “miracle substances” still available to the general public; it is safe, readily available, and dirt cheap. And best of all, it works! Did you know that you probably had your first sip of hydrogen peroxide shortly after you took your first breath? That’s right mother’s milk (especially colostrum) contains extremely high concentrations of H2O2. In light of the fact that we know that one of the main functions of mother’s milk is to activate and stimulate the immune system in the infant, the fact that it contains abnormally large amounts of H2O2 makes sense. As far back as the early nineteenth century, hydrogen peroxide was widely used in medicine. Many bacterial diseases (including syphilis) responded to H2O2 when no other treatment was effective. In the early twentieth century, H2O2 was used to treat several common diseases, such as whooping cough, cholera, typhoid fever, ulcers, tuberculosis, and asthma. However, as the pharmaceutical industry began to develop expensive, new drugs, hydrogen peroxide was increasingly ignored and finally discarded as a treatment. H2O2 stimulates natural killer (NK) cells, which attack cancer cells as they attempt to spread throughout the body.
In the body’s immune response, hydrogen peroxide is released by T-cells to destroy invading bacteria, viruses and fungi. Blood platelets release hydrogen peroxide on encountering particulates in blood. In the large intestine, acidophilus lactobacillus produces H2O2 which keeps the ubiquitous candida yeast from multiplying out of control. When candida spreads out of the intestine, it escapes the natural control system and can gain a foothold in the organs of the body, causing what is called chronic fatigue syndrome. During flu season, if the kiddos feel like they‘re getting sick, we lay them down on their side and put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide into their ear. After a few seconds, the liquid will bubble, indicating that it is killing the infection.
After 5 or 10 minutes, we turn them over and repeat on the other ear. No one yet fully understands the complete workings of hydrogen peroxide, but we do know that it is loaded with oxygen. We know that when H2O2 is taken into the body (orally or intravenously) the oxygen content of the blood and body tissues increases dramatically. Please remember that the hydrogen peroxide that is available at your local pharmacy (3% hydrogen peroxide) should NEVER be ingested orally, since it contains many stabilizers. The only grade recommended for internal use is 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, which must be properly diluted down to 3% with water. I use hydrogen peroxide each night before bed as a rinse and also a natural teeth whitener.

The articles are great, I will be reading more. I am wondering, where do you purchase food grade hydrogen peroxide for taking internally? Thank you so much for the info. Jim.

Very interesting, and I have heard about this before. What I have not seen at all yet is how you would administer it, or where can I find a doctor that knows how to administer it??
Thanks.

You purchase 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. THEN you dilute it to 3% Hydrogen Peroxide? How do you know it is 3% diluted? Is there a ration or “recipe?”
Thanks!

3% Hydrogen Peroxide Solution: A 3% solution of H202 is made by adding one ounce of 35% H202 to eleven ounces of purified or distilled water.
Found that info here:

I have used H202 for years (35%) for a number of things. I have done the drops in water drinking regimen and it was awesome. What I use it for most is on skin conditions having been in the sun most of my life, when I have “something” show up on my skin (face primarily) I put a tiny drop of H202 (35) on it … which “HURTS LIKE THE DICKENS” everytime!, but it is amazing at keeping skin conditions ‘benign.’ I have a lot more but no time to elaborate now. Great stuff.

I was just going to say “but isn’t it extremely caustic” (or am I thinking of caustic soda). Its pretty powerful in high concentrations I think, thuis the 3% mixture an why it burns you in higher concentrations. I once read that it can cure HIV/AIDS, but not sure about that one. Anyone on here heard of that ? – ps. excellent article as usual ! Very impressed !

I use hydrogen peroxide for bad cuts. Dilute 35% down to about 8%. When someone gets a bad cut splash it on and leave it till it starts to burn a bit. It will cauterize the cut and sterilize it at the same time. You avoid stitches on many occasions. When it starts to heal apply coconut oil on a regular basis, it heals faster with no real scar. My husband cut his finger down to the bone. This stopped the bleeding almost immediately. It took a couple of times and then we put a band aid on it just to protect it but the bleeding stopped. It was completely healed within a week.

I have used the commercial 3% H2O2 for minor cuts etc for years. Diluting the food grade 35% is very interesting also. I have used and continue to use H2O2 3% as an emergency oxygen supply for my Koi fish. I kept them alive for 48 hours until the power came back on last year. I used about 4-5 ounces in 8,000 gallons (yep, eight thousand gallons). Each dose last about 6-8 hours. I am still experimenting and no fish losses. Looking forward for more uses.

For a good intro to H2O2, have a look at this video … if it’s not banned by then …

Many brilliant other uses. I hated cleaning grapes of pesticides and rubbish. Anyway I have 6% st the mo. Chucked a bit in a bowl of water and not just grapes all fruit are stripped immediately of nasties and they stay fresh for longer. Also after 8 years with my cat I always use tea tree oil & have to date been clear of infection from teeth ot claws. Few nights ago got grazed by my cats tooth. By morning it was infected. Had to cut the wound open a day later as initially I didn’t and was still inflammed, have my 6% in spray bottle. Cleaned & closed beautifully, till I scratched deep scabs off at night. Was rather exposed eek and wet, after a couple more days I doused it & butterfly stitched it. And is now into its second day since and is closed, dry & itchy si healing well.

Hi. I’ve been using H2O2 for a teeth whitener for some time, it works great. My problem is, that as a diabetic, I’ve found that drinking 3-4 glasses of water with even just one or two drops of H2O2 (3%)would make my feet go numb after one night’s sleep. Ihad to stop. It’s too bad because the rest of me was feeling better. Have you ever heard of this before? Can you tell me why it’s happening?

Photo-oxidation is a process that produces hydrogen peroxide when the melanin in skin is exposed to sunlight. UV-Aid is a patent pending product that produces hydrogen peroxide through photo-oxidation in nasal, oral, and ear cavities helping to prevent air-borne diseases like colds, flu, sore throats and ear infections. In over 3 years of sales our satisfaction rate is over 95%. This speaks to the effectiveness of hydrogen peroxide.

Peroxide can only be effective when used properly.
You must read “The One Minute Miracle” for complete instructions on proper use.
I haven’t purchased it yet, but have seen it for $10.
No – HIV is NOT AIDS. Forget about establishment propaganda. Immune dysfunction is caused by severe malnutrtion and degeneration.

That would explain why Honey, especially the Manuka type or the Jelly Bush – heals wounds when applied topically and is said to be a health advantage, “The Hydrogen Peroxide Producing Capacity of Honey”.
